There has been much excitement over the brand-new 2013 Dodge Dart as it’s the first Chrysler product to be based upon a Fiat architecture – in fact so much that some couldn’t just wait and unleashed a slew of pictures as well as the first video of the compact sedan on the road.

The Dart effectively replaces the Caliber in Dodge’s lineup offering the Chrysler Group a direct rival to the Ford Focus and Chevrolet saloons.

2013 Subaru BRZ To Handle Like No Other?

Brace yourselves as Subaru is about to unveil the latest 2013 rear-wheel drive BRZ sports car. Day and place – as soon as the NAIAS in Detroit kicks off. Baring the typical Subaru pedigree, the BRZ spirit will be all about handling. Sales are expected to start late at Spring.

So why not AWD like most Subarus out there? Well, to achieve exceptional handling, Subaru engineers have figured that they need the lowest center of gravity achievable. Therefore an AWD system was deemed too complex and restrictive while with a RWD system the engine can be mounted pretty low. The whole car weights no more than 2,700 lbs and it will be powered by a 2.0 liter, 200 horsepower, 7400 rpm doomsday device. And because it is a compact flat (boxer) engine, technicians have the freedom to put it where they want it to in order to achieve perfect weight distribution and center of gravity.

Facelifted 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 5.7 V8 Announced for the U.S.

As we anticipated, after the December launch of the updated 2012 Land Cruiser 200 in its home market of Japan, Toyota has announced details on the North American version that will go on sale in the States as a 2013 model later this year.

While Toyota’s U.S. arm released photos of the European specification model, the same styling changes apply for the 2013 Land Cruiser that will be sold here and which we will most likely have the chance to see for the first time at next week’s Detroit Auto Show.

In China, you either go big or you go home, and this also applies to the automotive industry. Tuned cars are much more over-the-top there than in any other place. Looking a bit like a footballer’s car, this yellow bird is the work of tuners Overfinch and is built exclusively for the Chinese market, according to CarBuzz.

The car shot by Chinese site AutoHome, sits in a JLR dealership there and despite being based on a large and imposing SUV, it almost kisses the ground. The China Edition is powered by the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 and is good for 503 hp.

Vorsteiner have unveiled their latest project – V-MS for the BMW 5 series (F10) equipped with M Sport package. It involves an aerodynamic kit, new wheels and some exhaust system tweaks.

The aerodynamic kit consists of a front air splitter (designed to fit the M Sport bumper), a rear diffuser and a trunk lip spoiler – all in carbon fiber. These add-ons give a type of character to the 5 series while having a purposeful balancing role. A newly installed full cat back exhaust system ups the power by 12HP and enhances the output sound.
