The newest VW Beetle is funky, hip and image laden. So one might think there is no real need to further personalize. Accessory house JE Design however, thing they can push the boundaries of individualism even more.

The Beetle’s chassis for example has underwent JE specialty tuning by replacing the springs with ones that are more stiff so that body roll is reduced to minimum. Despite being shorter (around 30-35 millimeters) than the standard springs, no shock absorber change is needed, The JE Design spring kit is available for 219 euros ($289) in Germany.

The new highly efficient Jetta is powered by astonishing powertrain including a 1.4-litre TSI 150 PS petrol engine and a 27PS (20 kW) electric motor. This result in great improvement of the range – 45 mpg US (54 mpg Imp.) and nice performance – 0 to 60 mph in just below 9 seconds.

German automaker Volkswagen unveiled its latest car named Passat Alltrack at the Tokyo Motor Show on December 3, 2011. This car features 4Motion four-wheel-drive increasing the off-road capability of this car. This car with a sleek and stylish look has got visual enhancement that will protect its body from scrapes. The matte chrome roof rails add to the look of this car. VW has also used new and improved window surrounds and grille in this car. This car will be powered by either a 2.0 L TDI engine with an output of 138 horsepower or a 2.0 L TDI engine with 167 horsepower output. This car sports Alcantara upholstery and VW has used 2Zone electronic climate control in the Passat All rack as well.

What does it offer

Volkswagen has used the same technology in this car which it has used in its other 4MOTION vehicles, which are front axle driven and the rear axle receiving only 10 per cent of propulsive power. This technology increases the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. The rear axle can receive 100% of power as well using an electrohydraulic Haldex clutch. VW has used an off-road mode, which is used in Tiguan Escape also, in this car. The dashboard of this car has a button which can be used to activate hill descent assist, which automatically applies the brakes when the car descents at an angle of more than 10 degrees. VW has also altered the ABS function of this car and the new car’s ABS function has higher thresholds than its predecessors.

With the 5th generation of Golf GTIs, Volkswagen decided to bring back the essence of the original and iconic Golf GTI Mk 1. Anyone who has seen the the Golf GTI from the 70’s can immediately point out which genes have made it on to the Mk. 5. The red lining of the front honeycomb grille, the black side skirts, the plaid seats and a typical tachometer all give away the otherwise discrete hot hatch.

Shmidt Revolution, a German tuning company, finding it pointless to try and improve on perfection (so to speak) have preserved all these elements in their project called The Powerhouse. What they have done to change the appearance of the VW however is to put an again standard R32 rear bumper and add a lip spoiler and some skirts here and there.

2012 Volkswagen Golf R with 256-Ponies Priced from $33,900* in the U.S.

We’ve known about Volkswagen’s plans to sell the hot Golf R in the Statesfor a while now, but today, the German carmaker released pricing details on the heir to the 2004 and 2008 Golf R32 models, which will go on sale early next year.

The most powerful VW hatch sold on this side of the Atlantic will be offered in both three- and five-door body styles with prices starting from $33,900 *plus destination. Models equipped with sunroof and navigation will carry MSRPs of $35,490 (two-door) and $36,090 (four-door), not including destination and handling fees.
