Japanese tuner Noblesse has been steadily releasing numerous aftermarket bits and pieces for the new CR-Z ever since Honda launched its hybrid sport hatch . Among other parts, the company has developed a ground aero-kit with front and rear bumper aprons, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a large roof wing. These can be complemented by a lightweight carbon fiber hood, underbody aero parts, larger alloy wheels and a sport exhaust system. One of the benefits of having an F1 team at your disposal is that, in the off season at least, you’ve got some of the world’s best professional drivers on call for test driving duties. And promotional detail, too.

In this case, we’re talking about Mercedes-Benz – specifically its upcoming 2012 SLK and star driver Nico Rosberg. Vehicle engineer Michael Scheer shot some footage riding shotgun in the new roadster around Monte Carlo as Rosberg gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the new SLK, demonstrating as well that trick Magic Sky Control tinting roof. McLaren has announced their plans to develop the new MP4-12C GT3 Race car, which will compete in several races in 2011. The Race car will be built with the help of CRS Racing.

“Racing is in our blood — it was natural to develop a GT3 car alongside the 12C road car. We have a legendary history in global motorsport, including GT racing, and we aim to maintain that reputation with this GT3 program, and any future sports car projects that may evolve.”, commented Martin Whitmarsh, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team Principal.

However, McLaren MP4-12C GT3 will officially race in the 2012 European FIA GT3 Series.
