Facelifted 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 5.7 V8 Announced for the U.S.

As we anticipated, after the December launch of the updated 2012 Land Cruiser 200 in its home market of Japan, Toyota has announced details on the North American version that will go on sale in the States as a 2013 model later this year.

While Toyota’s U.S. arm released photos of the European specification model, the same styling changes apply for the 2013 Land Cruiser that will be sold here and which we will most likely have the chance to see for the first time at next week’s Detroit Auto Show.

Tokyo 2011: Toyota Fun VII

This is the Toyota Fun VII, a concept that, as its name suggests, offers an entertaining package, and promises to bring the future of communication into the present.

The vehicle is covered in LCD display areas that allow the driver to change the color of the car or show the world any image he likes. This is just a part of the story, as the cabin, which comes with three seats, offers with an extra high level of modularity.

New Toyota GT 86 Sports Coupe with 2.0-liter Engine Officially Revealed in Production Guise

The wait for the most hotly anticipated (and teased, may we add..) sports cars of the year, the production version of the Toyota FT-86 2+2 coupe, is finally over as the Japanese automaker came out with all the juicy details ahead of the car’s world premiere at the at the Tokyo motor show on November 30.

In Europe, the new Toyota will be called the GT 86 in tribute to the Japanese firm’s GT car heritage and especially the Corolla GT (or Levin) AE86, which inspired its creation. The Japanese domestic market version will be aptly called 86.

In the years that followed after the suspension of production of the last Toyota Supra, the MkIV in 2002, we were (and still are) blasted with numerous reports and rumors suggesting that the Japanese carmaker is planning a revival of its flagship sports car.

More recently, Car Magazine cited unnamed official sources as saying that Toyota has already approved a successor to the Supra. Of course, until we hear it from Toyota, we’re obliged to take everything we read about a future Supra with a grain of salt

2012 Toyota Camry Appears in Different Form in Ukraine

After this week’s world premiere of the North American market 2012 Camry, Toyota is now preparing the debuts of its mid-size sedan in other regions of the world. First up is the Ukrainian version, which will most likely be offered in the same form in other surrounding markets including Russia.

While both iterations of the 2012 Toyota Camry share the same body and platform, the Ukrainian model sports a different and more prominent front-end design with bespoke headlamp units, bumper, hood, grille and front fenders.
