Presented in Europe in March of 2006, the Note is Nissan’s offering in the popular mini-MPV segment (think Opel Meriva). In Britain alone, the Note has sold more than 100,000 units while total production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in UK has reached 427,985 vehicles since its introduction.

While there’s no replacement planned for this year, Nissan has polished up the Note for 2012 with a new trim level and select styling and equipment upgrades on certain grades.

At the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Japanese equivalent of SEMA, Nissan wanted to further show the potential might of its Nismo in-house tuning division and what they can do to a bog-standard car.

This Micra Nismo Concept previews the sort of parts firm will be offering when their big factory kicks into action next year. It’s actually the third such vehicle shown, after the Juke Nismo Concept and Leaf Nismo Concept.

The new Invader N40 will be finally revealed by Invader Technologies at these years Geneva International Motor Show, which will start on 8th of March. The new Invader N40 is the ultimate customization package for the latest model of Nissan Patrol. For more precision, the latter vehicle is an equally legendary rival of Toyota Land Cruiser. This full customization package includes wide body kit, with completely restyled front. The refreshed front includes INVADER signature LED lights, carbon fiber detailing and the adorable blackened headlights.

There’s no question than any version of Nissan’s R35 sports car is blazing fast, but if you’re wondering what that means in absolute numbers for the most recent iteration, the revised 2012 GT-R that will be sold as a 2013 model year in North America, here’s a video showing the 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time at the Sendai Hiland raceway.

According to this video which may or may not be official, the updated GT-R with 550-horses under its hood recorded a mind-boggling 0-100km/h time of 2.84 seconds and a 0-60mph (96km/h) time of just 2.72 seconds.

Nissan has announced the new special edition of Juke. The model has a very strange name – Kuro and only 600 units will be produced for the UK. In case, you have some doubts, “Kuro” means “black” in Japanese and the Juke will get a black pearl finish.

The special edition model is based on the top-of-the-range Tekna grade and comes with ten-spoke 17” alloys in gloss black, black door mirrors and door handles.
