2013 Buick Enclave Heads to New York Auto Show with a Fresh Face and Updated Interior

Even though 2011 proved to be the best sales year ever for the Buick Enclave crossover since its introduction in May of 2007 with more than 58,000 deliveries, GM wants to keep the momentum going with the presentation of a facelifted model at the New York Auto Show.

Scheduled to reach U.S. showrooms this fall, the 2013 Enclave benefits from several updates including restyled exterior and interior, a refined suspension and the addition of new technologies.

2012 Buick Regal GS Pricing Announced

Joining the eAssist model in the Buick Regal lineup for 2012 is the performance-oriented Regal GS, which is to go on sale priced from $35,310, including $860 in destination charges. The 2012 Buick Regal GS comes fitted with a Ecotec 2.0L direct-injected turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 270 horsepower an 295 lb.-ft. of torque (400Nm).

The unit is coupled with a standard six-speed manual transmission, and gets an estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg on the highway. A six-speed automatic transmission will be available later in the model year.

2012 Buick Verano Sedan: China’s Excelle GT Finally Makes It To The States

If you’ve been following the news on Carscoop, the 2012 Buick Verano won’t come as a surprise as the new compact sedan is the North American version of GM’s China market Buick Excelle GT that was revealed in the first half of 2010. The two Buicks are identical in styling right up to the somewhat gaudy chrome eyebrows over the tail lamps.

The small Buick is essentially the sedan version of the European market Opel Astra, something that is visible from the profile styling as well as the interior, and is built on the same platform and shares basic engine architecture with the Chevrolet Cruze.
