2013 Mercedes SL 65 AMG Revealed: V12 Biturbo

2013 Mercedes SL 65 AMG 1

Daimler today unveiled the brand new Mercedes Benz SL 65 AMG, and to sum this car up we’d say it’s really powerful, really beautiful an too expensive.

Still, if you lime Mercedes cars but think the SLS is ugly, this costs just as much and offers an alternative.

The big story with the R231 SL 65 AMG is that it’s powered by a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine that generates 630 PS ( 621 hp). The engine is so strong and manly that they’ve had to limit the torque output to 1000Nm (737 lb-ft), because the rest of it couldn’t keep up.

British tuner Kahn is now here to change all that by introducing a tuning project based on the latter.

The company chose a series of subtle changes, with the only exception being a set of 22-inch Silver Mist wheels that use a diamond polish and keep the original center cap.

Renault Clio RS Red Bull Racing RB7 Is too Expensive

Renault Clio RS 1

Let’s get one thing straight: we love how the Clio RS 200 looks, but the bumper and F1-style wing should be black, while the body looks best in blue or red (never green!). However, Renault just couldn’t help itself but to create a special edition model dedicated to last year’s Red Bull Racing victory in Formula 1.

With the 2012 F1 season just around the corner, it’s the perfect time for Renault to launch this car, and it’s also the perfect time for us to say we don’t love it. However, the Clio RS is probably the most deserving car to get an F1 badge on it.
