Infiniti Unveiled First Photo of the Special Edition Sebastian Vettel FX

A few days after the Japanese brand published a special clip in which the Formula 1 champion, Sebastian Vettel, talks to Infiniti’s chief designer about an upcoming special edition of the FX, Infiniti decided to show us the first photo with the project, ahead of the Frankfurt debut next month.

As usual, details are pretty sketchy at this point, but Infiniti hinted in the past that the future model will be a performance flavor of the FX that will benefit from the partnership with the Red Bull Formula 1 team. Sebastian Vettel himself participated to the designing process of the new concept which is likely to enter production in a limited series early next year.

New 2013 Audi S8 gets 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 with 520-Horses

Audi’s third and final “S” model heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show is the luxurious S8 that will be launched on the market along with the S6 and S7 Sportback in the spring of 2012.

As it holds the title of being the ‘Big Daddy’ of Audi’s S range, it was only appropriate that the S8 receive a more powerful version of the newly revealed 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine than on the S6 and S7 models.

Volkswagen XL1, coming to 2011 Frankfurt Motor show

It seems like the world is getting ’serious’ about utilizing renewable energy to power transportation in the future. While the technology exists, the challenge is to make it affordable. This time Volkswagen, Europe’s biggest automaker, has announced investments of about $1.44 billion in renewable energies. It will be selling this power to its electric cars customers.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen is all set to unveil its one-seater EV car concept in Frankfurt Motor Show later this year. It will be an experimental car that would join Volkswagen’s line of future car concepts. Volkswagen wants to become leader in electric cars segment with its electronic vehicles contributing 3 percent of its annual sales by the end of 2018. Unfortunately, there are no official pictures or specifications released yet by the company, however, the model will be displayed on September 8 in Berlin.

2012 Toyota Camry Appears in Different Form in Ukraine

After this week’s world premiere of the North American market 2012 Camry, Toyota is now preparing the debuts of its mid-size sedan in other regions of the world. First up is the Ukrainian version, which will most likely be offered in the same form in other surrounding markets including Russia.

While both iterations of the 2012 Toyota Camry share the same body and platform, the Ukrainian model sports a different and more prominent front-end design with bespoke headlamp units, bumper, hood, grille and front fenders.
