Ford is not shying away from the fact that it has set its eyes on the Toyota Prius V with the new C-MAX Hybrid as the Blue Oval makes it a point to put at least one reference to the Japanese carmaker’s minivan in all of its press statements.

Last time, it was the C-MAX Hybrid’s fuel economy with Ford stating that its new minivan will be much more efficient than the Prius V that returns an EPA estimated 44mpg city, 40mpg highway and 42mpg combined. So wait, what is the C-MAX Hybrid’s fuel economy? Well, that is something Ford has yet to announce…

The Camaro is already a menacing looking brute and there are so many tuning packs around which make it even more menacing, that you’re spoiled for choice. SLP is a familiar name in the Camaro tuning business and their Panther is a fine offering.

The ‘Panther’ name has some history behind it as it was the name originally given to the ‘Camaro’ back in 1965. There will be four power versions available for purchase: 560-, 585-, 600- and 700hp, with only 45 of the latter being made. The power boost comes courtesy of a Magna Charge TVS 2300 supercharger kit in various states of tune, a new exhaust and a cold-air induction system.

Porsche Reveals Pre-Production 918 Spyder Plug-in Hybrid Super Car with More than 770HP

The wait for Porsche’s most radical sports car ever, the 918 Spyder, is nearing its end with the Stuttgart based automaker having completed the development of the pre-production prototypes, the first photos of which were released today.

First seen as a concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, the 918 Spyder is a plug-in hybrid supercar that will enter production at the end of September 2013. Porsche said that the first customer deliveries will take place “before 2013 is out”.

We heard about, talked about it, and even took a few spy pictures of it, and now the time has cone for the official reveal: the all-new Mini John Cooper Works GP special.

Dubbed as the fastest production Mini in history, the new John Cooper Works GP lapped the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in a very impressive 8 minutes and 23 seconds, which makes it about 19 seconds faster than the previous generation JCW GP model that sported a 1.6-liter force-fed unit with 210hp and 180 lb-ft (244Nm) of peak torque.
